WOW!! What an Amazing Tool!July 30, 2010 Wendy Tobler(Michigan) I have only half a cat left thanks to this incredible deshedder! Of the umpteen cats I've had all my life, none have been longhairs because they're just not practical for the rural lifestyle we lead. But my latest rescue kitten grew into a longhaired beauty who requires regular brushing. Nothing I tried was significantly thinning out or shortening his multi-layered coat, and it was heartbreaking to watch him constantly trying to groom himself.
Enter The FURminator. If I could sell cat hair, I'd be rich right now! Bushels of the stuff just kept coming off of him for as long as I kept combing. I could probably completely denude my hairy guy if I wanted to! I can't thank The FURminator enough for finally enabling my Puff to be as comfortable as a normal cat.
Remarkable ProductJuly 30, 2010 Shirley Works better than anything I have ever tried. I have 3 labs and keeping up with their shedding has always been a challenge. The furminator has allowed me to cut brushing down to once a week. The dogs love it also, so you know its gentle.
Yay for a decent brush!July 30, 2010 H. Oden(Louisiana, USA) I was able to get the medium-sized Furminator, with shipping, for about $20 here on amazon, and it's totally worth it. We've got a 100-lb. mutt that sheds like crazy, especially during the hot months here in the south, and this has helped tremendously. Don't expect a miracle-- your dog will still shed some (it's a dog, after all), but this cut down the amount of dog hair around our house A LOT. We're putting our house up for sale soon and I don't know that we could keep it clean without this product. Happy brushing!
Works so well!July 29, 2010 RBK My cats love being brushed with the FURminator! It is very effective at removing excess fur, although pretty messy. We brush them in the dry bathtub for ease of collecting the fur afterward. Their coats look silky and shiny when we're through. Well worth the money I paid for it! Works great on short- and long-haired cats, as we have one of each. I told my vet we'd purchased one and she even gave it her seal of approval!
AmazingJuly 29, 2010 BOSS i have a husky and decided to give the Furminator a try. This tool works very good, I bought a different hair removal tool at a petsmart but did not remove the hair as good as the Furminator. 10/10 very satisfied, now my dog looks clean :)
