Finishing my TS2 collection... May 3, 2010 sportysims235 (Virginia, USA) This Stuff pack adds some cool new features like windmills, tons of plants, and 7-8 new hairstyles for males/females. I recommend picking this up for the Sims 2 fan that needs to finish off his collection...
Mansins & Gardens March 3, 2010 Maw Barb (Kermit, Tx) It is'nt all that much to the stuff pack unless you build large mansions or download houses that require it. But if you have all the other packs why not get this one too.
If only it worked... December 4, 2009 M. G. Cary (GA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've installed and uninstalled and reinstalled this expansion multiple times. It crashes... and then it crashes... and then it crashes. Occasionally you're able to use it for a while before it completely kills everything, but more often than not, that's not the case. I love it, but I hate it because I'm not able to use it. :P
I LOVE THIS! September 13, 2009 SpyroGirl It has added so many more neat items to my game, it's nice to decorate with more items than what came with the base game.
Love the new staircases! August 6, 2009 D. J. Taylor (Johnston City, IL USA) If you are a sims addict looking to add to your collection by buying some stuff packs, this is the one to add if you don't buy any of the others. This stuff pack comes with some really nice looking new object meshes -- and if the textures aren't your cup of tea, there are lots of nice recolors to be found online at various Sims download sites. I especially like the Second Empire set with it's Mansard roofs with windows in them. The new plants are very nice looking as well as the new garden objects. But the two things that sold me on this stuff pack are the new animations for Sims sliding down staircase railings and the "slider" for adjusting individual roof slopes in build mode. MUCH nicer and easier to use than the ingame cheat. There is also a new cheat that allows you to place objects on a quarter grid instead of the big grid, which is great for centering TVs across from loveseats, coffee tables in front of three tile sofas, ceiling fixture lamps over dining tables, and such. Much nicer than trying to use the snapobjectstogrid cheat in the original game, IMO. This one is the one to buy. You'll have to use this DVD to start the game with because it behaves more like an expansion pack than a stuff pack, but that's no problem.
