Leapster-I Spy Treasure Hunt August 9, 2010 K. Heath (Virginia) My daughter has played this game a lot. It's nice, because she was getting bored with some of the easier games, and this one was a little more challenging for her.
I Spy Leapster Game June 29, 2010 J. Miller (Wooster, OH USA) My three kids ages 8, 6 and 4 all love their Leapsters. We bought this for our 6 year old daughter last Christmas. She has played all the way through all the levels and has gone back to do them again. Her 8 year old brother has done the same. There are four different levels which keep it interesting and by the time you are done and start again, it's pretty new. They like to see how fast they can get through it now. Good value and fun.

We got this as the first game for my six-year-old daughter's new Leapster 2. She wanted a DS, like her brothers have, but I thought she was too young for that. She likes the game, and I saw that she played it a lot when it was new, but I haven't noticed her playing it that often lately. She prefers the drawing game that comes with the Leapster over this game. However, my three-year-old could play it for hours, even though it is above her level of understanding. From what I have seen, you are given a picture, and you are told to find certain items in the picture. You use the pen to pan around and select objects. There is also a game where you match items that rhyme or match items with their initial letter. Good learning activities, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of variety, though, and maybe that's because my kids play the same level over and over. There are three levels to choose from. I got this item for a very good price, so it was worth it to me. I have not tried any other games, though, so I can't give a comparative review.
Leapster I Spy Treasure Hunt January 23, 2010 G. Mcloughlin (Gaithersburg, MD) This was a huge success with my four-year-old on Christmas! HE loves playing this (for HOURS at a time) and I would highly recommend this to anyone with a Leapster.
Not as listed January 18, 2010 Leonard Harrington (Fenton Mi) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I bought this for my four year old granddaughter's birthday. When I read the description here it said manufactors suggested age was 4 to 8. I thought great she can do this, since she is just turning 4. I was very displeased to see that when it arrived it is for grades one to three, ages 6 to 9. Why is this misrepresented?? This is not a game for a 4 or 5 year old. Grossly misrepresnted, and being returned!
